"We spent a wonderful week in Le Petit Pressigny. The house was very clean, well-equipped and a great place to stay to visit the Loire region. We spent a lot of our time in the beautiful garden where we saw a huge variety of wildlife including a red squirrel, hedgehog, numerous birds and butterflies.

We would have loved to have stayed longer in order to explore the area immediately around Le Petit Pressigny. With visits to some of the many chateaux that are in easy driving distance of the house, there was too much to do in one week. In particular we would have liked to make use of the bikes kindly provided by the owners to ride out to some of the neighbouring villages.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely house and would not hesitate to recommend it."

Enormous garden and delightful village location

"We spent a very relaxing week in this spacious, traditional gîte. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped, our party of four adults were extremely comfortable. We especially appreciated the peace and calm of the garden/park (which is huge) and the rowing boat on the river. Spotted red squirrels, a green woodpecker and various other birds which are new to us.

The village of Le Petit Pressigny is very attractive ('ville fleurie') and the boulangerie/pizzeria are very conveniently situated. Great locality for cycling - quiet roads over gently rolling hills with attractive countryside and delightful small villages. Enjoyed market day at the medieval city of Loches and lunch at Hotel de L'Image (Preuilly-sur-Claise). Highly recommended all round!"
